I just had an interesting conversation with someone I would have never In my life thought I would ever have the chance to meet, let alone have a conversation with, and It was only after the fact that I realized that I have reached a point in my career, my passion, my life... that I never ever thought that I would have ever gotten to.... And then, I got to thinking...

I have had the privilege of speaking with some of my all time heroes, getting advice from people I would have never thought id possibly have contact with or acknowledgment from, since I started this journey that I am on. And still to this day, I am in complete denial of the presences of awe I have been in and the amazing conversations, insights and opportunities That I have had, creatively from my conversations, and experiences with these people. I am the luckiest girl In the world!

I have been given the gift of having random opportunites to talk to some of the most wonderful and insightful [FAMOUS] people in the world...And as slowly and surley as it has happened...I want to make sure that I dont take it forgranted, forget it, or write it off because without these people I really and truly would not be where I am today, Or be where I will be tomorrow!

I recently received Alison Arngrim's best selling book 'Confessions Of A Prairie Bitch [How I Survived being Nellie Oleson & Learned to Love being Hated]' for my birthday and finished reading it the other day. Best birthday present EVER!!! I absolutely LOVED it! Which isn't much of a surprise as I've loved Nellie Oleson since I first laid eyes on the TV screen and watched her brutally and eloquently condescend everyone in her path! [sigh] She definitely knows the way to my heart!

Anyways, her book was amazing! Tactfully and tastefully provocative! I laughed, cried, seethed, and gasped the whole way through the book and could not put it down! I finished the whole thing in 2 days and left the last chapter for too long simply because I didn't want it to end.

Do yourself a favor and buy it!!! I will definitely be reading it over and over again. I'm a bonnet head for life! Always have been, always will be!

Im all moved in at my new apt. Much nicer place but I specifically asked if they sprayed for bugs here regularly and they assured me they did...so why is my kitchen being invaded with HUGE leggy crickets that are more like spider-roach hybrids every night?! It's MY kitchen! I don't want to stumble into the hallway and smash huge bugs on accident with my sock feet. Sick.

Iv decided Im not going to take cosmetology anymore. I know I keep changing my mind but I seriously know what Im doing I promise. I wish I hadnt grown up assuming, and being told that I could never go to art school because my family was poor. I do not feel I am where I wanted to be at my age right now.

Anyways Im now living in an even smaller town then before.

Oh in case you didnt know I had to end my semester early because I was put in the hospital with pericarditis in April or May or something...Im fine now but I was actually walking with a cane for awhile....It was a really cool cane though so its ok.

I also discovered the perfect pizza. Pan crust with cheese, green olives, bacon, and red onions. They keep putting green peppers on it instead so if you order that make sure your very clear.

Ok it's tv time.

Amidst the Midnight Gray

To hide from light, I dreamt all day

and woke amidst the midnight gray

to frantic pulls within my heart

to venture out into the dark

and see if you had come for me,

some arcane wordless mystery,

I stood again beside the veldt

enthralled in all the gloom I felt.

And when the hour became an instance,

with one last look into the distance,

I'd sigh and slowly walk back home

to wait for night, again, alone.

I dont usually write poetry..well I never do I. I gave it up when a long time ago when I didnt have anything even worth writing about... I say I hate poetry all the time... but I dont, I guess I just hate most modern peoples poetry...It usually sucks...maybe this does too but I like it so up it goes. obviously iv been reading too much poe and Irving lately, get over it :)

Quick updates:
We are moving right now so very busy, new artwork up so check that out if you havent. I don't think Iv added it all to the website yet but that will happen.... at some point.
I have turtles. They have a lifecam. Its pretty intense. not really.
